Your welcome.
I'm glad I emailed you.
I still have a lot of people to email yet.
But slowly and surely they will come.

Suppose I should have dropped in to say "Howdy" first, but saw JetGirl's "Back Porch" and couldn't resist the temptation.
A lot of hard work has obviously already been done here, and I know that Dwight and Brad and others have the "right stuff" to see that the work continues. Great site and, hopefully, another great resource for those of us with a "passion" for acquiring both new guns and information about them, how to use them properly, how to tune or fix them,etc.
I have invited a few old friends that I think can add value here:
pdeal (Pete Deal), who is the Guru when it comes to taking Annie's apart and putting them back together, as well as a pretty formidable source on all things related to 3P and 4P shooting and working with youth clubs. In fact, if you (or we) ever decide to do a dedicated 3P, 4P, Youth Shooting or Annie Forum here, I would strongly recommend Pete as a Mod;
Ziplok (Conrad Irwin, Jr.), a "treasure trove" of info on older guns, loves to tinker, loves to try and make old Martini's shoot, and actually found a 1965 article for me from American Rifleman reviewing my gun when I bought my first really good Russian Target rifle (the MU-12) and sent it to me;
BRNOMANN (Denny Jakubec), THE source for all things BRNO and CZ related, and a heck of a great guy who willingly shares what he knows and has;
troutmd (Jim Edmondson), a knowledgable rimfire guy who is a top air power expert as well, and the same kind of guy Denny is when it comes to hooking you up with an air gun (I think we exchanged about a dozen e-mails and a couple phone calls before he found me the perfect gun for what I was looking for);
Added one more: Mac Tilton (never a member at "the other place" that I know of, although he visited from time to time). He IS a dealer, BUT, he has been an active supporter of International Shooting for years, has a personal collection of Rimfire Target rifles to die for, has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of target rifles, and is really THE guy when it comes to Eastern European, if not all European match rifles. And he willingly shares that knowledge! He and troutmd are good friends and I count him among my friends as well. He willingly accepts calls and e-mails, will help you track down oddball guns or parts, and will talk your leg off about what rifle the "WhatsaLatvian" Team shot in the 64 Olympic trials with what mod's or sights, and "Oh by the way, I have one in my collection, or one or two that I'll let you have", should be a great asset to us.
I hope all visit and join, Denny has already e-mailed me back and we should see his smiling face shortly and I've talked to Mac as well and think we'll see him come over and poke around.

Hello folks. Bass_singer here. I PM'd Dwight to change my name and now I wonder if I picked the right thing. Oh, well. I'll get it sorted out and make up my mind.
Glad to see lots of familiar faces. I think I'll ask Dwight to make my name like Gene's: Bass Singer (Wade).

Lookit all the familiar faces! And some with familiar writing styles. I see such a knowledge base being built here that I cannot imagine any topic that is not covered. I hope to be able to add something of interest to such a group of gurus. cjsdad (too stuborn to change names)
