Here is a length of pull chart I use from time to time. I have a few old rimfire books that have a great wealth of information. Swiss

Phil, I...uuhhhh thought...that was your cousin in the GEICO comercial ;D
All jokes aside, that chart is a great post.
You got karma points for that

Swiss, thanks a bunch! That chart was exactly what I was needing for a new stock I am working on!
Phil, mine was 30" also...explains why the Richards stocks with buttpad fit me so well. And, yeah, I have the same problems with long sleeve shirts, that's why I always order from Cabela's and get the tall size, even tho I'm only 6'.

Darn, looks like they don't make any long guns for me! Mine is 32 3/4", no wonder I can't shoot. Need to add a piece of 2x4 or something. Here I thought my eyes were bad and all along it's my arms too long. They weren't any too long a few years back before I started wearing glasses to read the paper .

A good old yard stick has always worked well for me. Bend your shooting arm and hold that hand out straight. Place the yard stick in the bend of your arm and measure to the first joint of your trigger finger. Works pretty well. On my deer rifles and my shotgun for rabbit hunting I keep them an inch shorter then the rest, makes it easier shooting with a coat on.
