Good morning. Despite the fact that my main "thing" is Swiss Rifles and the manufacture of Swiss accessories, IE: Diopter sight Systems, Clamp-On Monts, Brakes, Dampers etc, I also have a thing for old bolt action .22s.
I've been buying them anywhere I find them for a very long time. Lost Prairie Montana is the largest stand of the Columbian Ground Squirrel in the continental US. Up here we call 'em Gophers, but of course they're not a true gopher.
In the summer my kids (grown and with families) come home with friends to hunt the Gophers in Lost Prairie and we have plenty of dead-accurate old bolt actions to supply them all.
