What do you all do for a living?
I sell safety stuff. To everyone from individuals looking for a good pair of safety glasses to big corporations needing thousands of $$ worth of HazMat gear.

Work? ?? I thought we weren't supposed to use profanity on this sight. When I got out of the USAF in Jan '65, I went to work for 25 years building and maintaining test machines in the engineering experimental lab of a hydraulics company. When we were bought out in 1989 by another company, they moved the engineering department out of the plant and in 1990 (the last one to leave the department), I transfered to the maintenance department as a CNC tech maintaining mostly computer controlled production test machines and test equipment. I retired at the end of Nov. 2002.

Currently I'm working as an instructor at my Martial Arts school. I teach students anything from techniques they need to know for their first lesson, to personal training classes black belts (or other students) want for preparation for an upcoming promotion test or even just a refresher. I love working as an instructor. I have fun and I meet new people while I'm at it. I would rather teach at my school for 30 years than to work at McDonalds for 1 month.

Five banks in thirty years (actually seven due to two mergers). Teller, collector, loan officer, security officer, compliance officer, branch manager, financial specialist, vice president, offensive odor locator (its gotta be a dead mouse but I'll be danged if I can find it ladies), referee, etc.. I usually work with at least a half a dozen woman, I have a wife and two teenage daughters, and all three of my dogs are females. If it wasn't for Nick, my six year old rabbit, I would be totally outgunned.

By the way, did anybody else other than me think of Mel Brooks in Blazing Saddles when they saw the title of this thread, "Work!, Work!, Work!".
