Sorry to disappoint you guys , but has anybody read Homer's The Iliad? Any translation will do. What'd you think about it? Would you guys/gals consider The Iliad to be a portrait of modern society? Why/why not? I hope I'm not sounding too much like an English teacher, I just wanted to get some opinions before school started back up again.




PS: I hate English w/ a passion.

PPS: Have you older folks actually used English in your everyday lives? Now, be honest! ;D I challenge you to motivate me .
