Hello everyone.
I suggested to Dwight that we needed a magnum forum here on this exciting new web-site, he graciously obliged so here we are.
Now to introduce myself, My name is Jon and I have been a long time hunter, and rimfire magnum shooter since I was in my early teens, more recently I added a new magnum to the list, the HMR. I own 3 22WMR's and 1 HMR and love them all, probably as much as all of you do.
Now for the yucky part, the rules.
First and foremost This is a place to share info on your favorite magnum whether it be the 22WMR,17HMR, 17HM2, or the little pipsqueak the 17PMC ;D. You may share anything on the subject including firearms, hunting expiriences, and ammuntion Remember all info is welcome as long as it is about the magnums.
Now, at the other place there is alot of debates about these 4 rounds, you are welcome to debate as long as it stays civil.
Name calling, flaming, and general direspect to one another will not fly here. Remember we are all shooters and hunters so lets talk about our favorite calibers with respect for eachother. I will moderate this forum using the golden rule at all times, in case you aren't sure it's "Treat others how you want to be treated".
I have read many of your posts from the other place and recognize alot of user names, and I know you all have expirience and knowledge to contribute and look foward to your posts here.
Have fun, Billyo

Great. It started as an idea for the 22 magnum only, but what the heck, seems like the HM2 and PMC could be classed as a "long rifle" magnum. Anyway I won't get hung on all the details, I pretty much like them all as long as they don't say 1,250FPS on the box

Phil that is great, and Jon I couldn't have said it any better with JetGirls help. I figure the Magnum forum and the On the Hunt Forum will be cross threaded with the same users since we all know that these magnums are too inaccurate for serious target work ;D ;D ;D ;D OK that was uncalled for, but seriously. it does seem to me that more magnum shooters are hunters as well. Great to have you aboard (I don't have a thumbs up Icon ) Dwight

Glad to see this particular category as I've become attached to the 17HMR in the last couple of years.
Let the stories begin.................
