Alright,
I didn't get many replies on the shot of the month thread, but.. ;D I'm stubborn and always think my ideas are great ;D, so.... Start sending in your pics today for the september shot of the month. I will start a voting poll towards the end of september where we will all vote on the winner.
Rules: 22WMR, 17HMR, 17HM2, and 17PMC are all welcome to join in, and since I'm feeling frisky today any of the 22 family will be aloud if you are interested.
Must have a camera to post your pic, and if you can include the firearm used, we all like to see firearms ;D
Your target may be anything of your choosing, just make sure it's an impressive, jaw dropping shot cause we have some serious shooters as members.
And remember, you choose the best shot!
Submit your pics below:

Here you go Jon. This was taken back in June so it may not qualify but since no one else seemed to be participating...I thought I might win by default. This was a standing off hand shot at 120 yards with the 10-22mag. Actually two prairie dogs were killed off the same mound at the same distance just minutes apart. A total of three shots were fired to kill both. I'm not that good a shot but even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then ;D The ammo used was CCI Maxi-Mag w/40gr HP. warning! this is a graphic hunting picture. i14.photobucket.com/albums/a321/mike196280/Mobridge/22m-1.jpg

WTH's the deal? No offense HaMeR but a 221Fireball photo is allowed to stay and my 22M pic was removed on the rimfire page??? How the heck do you kill em without makin any blood anywho?
Didn't seem too gory to me. I guess there's a NO BLOOD clause I missed somewhere?

In all fairness to the contest I did use a CF rifle. I posted this picture to razz Red a little. I consider Red a very good friend & I couldn't resist. I don't expect to be the victor in this contest because I was a tad bit over gunned. ;D
His pic may have been a bit over the top here but a 120yd shot on a p-dog with a 22WMR offhand is definitely a "braggin rights" shot.
The other side of this hog has it's innards on it's outtards. He got shot thru the ribs right about at the liver. The other pic is on the Varminter.

Razz taken and expected Like I said no offense intended HaMeR. You'll have to teach me how to do that politically correct dead varmint picture takin thang some day . Varmints were included as a target of the posters choice in the original thread. So I post one to get the ball rolling on a thread that seems should get some interest among hunters and it gets removed RimFCesque? I have some paper group photos I've shot at known ranges, from a solid rest, under ideal conditions. I could post those but that's just plain boring and I'm not doin it.

Red, I'm sorry but it's the best we can do here, pictures like HaMeR's are all we will be aloud to use. Blood in small amounts can be used, but no spilt guts. It's just not my decision to make in this instance .

;D I just click em off they way I find em. But now I'm gonna go for a cleaner picture on the rimfire shots to post pictures here.
BTW-- Left to right looks good on the fence post but I think you're down 2 clicks. ;D

I understand some folks have weak stomachs and there may be some little girls that find this site and I'm in touch with their feelings. Here's another, still not September yet so it may not count? It's a squirrel I blew the livin crap out of with the new 17HM2. Notice the tiny tulip print on the sheet.

No but I noticed the tiny "tulip" print on the judges butt!! Thats just plain wrong there. Why without a strong wind blowing that poor sheet didn't have a chance to get away!! ;D
