9X19, Why does your Kimber look purple?? (I know it's probably the light...but I LOVE IT!)

You're not the first one to notice... or to beg me to tell them where they can get the finish... alas, it IS only poor lighting. ;D

Saw a custom 45 of which provenance I forget. It was anodized a light purple color just a bit darker than that picture appears. It did look very nice.
My Walmart special receiver can look almost that color under blue skies. But the barrel on it doesn't. Would look slick if it did.

Jay, Nice 41, I bought one like it many years ago. The lightweight barrel makes it a fine holster pistol. The guy that owns it now won't let me even look at it, he thinks I'll steal it Best, JB

I'd show you my Colt Officer's Model Target -- if I could figure how to get a picture into a post.

Still no digital camera, but I have a High Standard HD Military and 107 Citation and a Ruger (do you believe that?) Single Six. The Ruger is a 3 screw and originally didn't have a magnum cylinder, but has a "modified" one... a few thousandths ground off the end of the nose to fit where the LR does. Also have two centerfires... a Python and a CZ-50 7.65 Browning (or .32 Auto).
(For the uninitiated.. the Ruger comment refers to my intense dislike of 10/22s... anyone that knows me from R F C would probably know that. ;D)
