I cant decide what finish I want on my Tactical Innovations Mag! Here's what my 10/22 looks like (this would be a lot easier if I had a digital camera ): The stock: Coffee colored Fajen Silhouette The barrel: Blued A&B bull The receiver and TG: 'Factory' black finish The glass: Black 4.5-14x40 Mueller APV w/ 9" sunshade (yeah, I like 'em. So what?! ;D) The finish choices on mag: Stainless: Satin Black: Matte Black: I like the stainless, but I think it would look funny on my gun. The satin looks shiny and might complement my 10/22 nicely. And finally the Matte finish. Well, this just matches everything ;D. I'm looking for some HONEST opinions! If you think none of 'em look good, then please say so! What do you guys think?

Oh, on the Tactical innovations site , they have a fourth finish: LIQUID CERAMIC MATTE BLACK. They have no pics of this one so I have no idea what it looks like (DUH! ;D ) Can somebody tell me what the difference is between this one and the Satin Balck finish? TIA

CERAMIC MATTE BLACK
I have some Tsuba Replicas painted in this stuff, it is tough....tough Stuff. My Katana that I use two times a week has a Tsuba painted in this stuff and it gets sweaty skin rubbed against it continually....it has yet to show any rust (yes its carbon steel) or finish wear from this. TKD you know what hapens to training equipment in a Dojo...so this speaks volumes for the duability.

Guess I will be a dissenting voice. I like the satin black with matte black a second choice.

Right now I'm going for the Satin finish followed by the matte finish. Thanks for your replies so far everybody

Don't like "banana magazines" breaks the otherwise classic lines of the 10/22, but then again Iam nearly 67 years old and pretty much set in my ways. The important thing is that YOU like it, if you do then go for it. ;D ;D Woody

Thanks Woody,
I completly understand why you don't like banna mags. When i get your age I'll be thinking the same thing: "Dang kids! They don't know what looks good anymore!" ;D

I' m with Woody on this one......"Back in the Day", a banana or a drum type mag. looked cool with a folder stock, but as I grow older too many other things are starting to sag. ;D But if you must......Matte Black.

I like the looks of the 10/22 with factory bbl, banana, flash suppressor, and HK style sights. Ain't a kid no more, but still looks cool to me.

good choice on the scope. I have one of those on my CZ-452 American. They are just as good as a Weaver Mark II and at least half the price! -Richard E.

Thanks Richard. But I have to disagree on the scope; it's not a good scope at all. IT'S A GREAT SCOPE!! I absolutely love it! It's a huge improvement from my previous scope (Simmons Blazer) that I got at Wal-Mart. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it wasn't AO. It was a good scope overall.
