Hello, I'm curious about the hammer sears with adjustment screws. Anyone install one?

I sell them, but personally don't use them (and advise people not to unless they want to tinker). While removing creep can be obtained, it is a real pain in the rear to get the thing set up right. I'd rather use a matched hammer/sear set or competition set.

I agree with Ruger22.com, I use one but is a bit touchy(spelling?). Personaly I think a good hammer, trigger over travel screw and trigger return spring work will be time better spent .

Actually, I have found the adjustable sears to be very helpful, at least skeeter's variation thereof. Three of my four 10/22's have VQ hammer, skeeter adjustable sears and (sob) TPA triggers with oversized trigger and hammer pins. All are excellent triggers, with very little creep and pulls right around 2#.
