I am really happy with the new Marlin 2000L I got. At first, I was having trouble with it, due to a broken extractor but its working great now. The peeps on it seem to be good, and it feels great holding offhand. It shoots great to. I was shooting it the other day with the peeps on it and most of my 5 shot groups were in the .2's - .4's range at 25 yards. Does anybody know if this meets the restrictions for smallbore silhouette shooting? Or does that question make sence ;D I like the adjustable but plate on it too.

Jordan: It should make the standard class. The weight limit is like 10.2 lbs. I don't think that it will make the hunter class, because of the adjustable recoil pad, the pistol grip and the barrel. The barrel must be tapered in hunter class.

That's just how big my heart is. ;D Seriously, that's a sweet looking rifle.

I've always wanted one of those; Wish Marlin still made something like that. kirby001
