I found a pic on the web then reworked in acad and another program and made a decal of it. Martin MARTIN-- you made a decal? Hell, I can't even add text to my pictures with this new MAC-- no one has caught up with the intel chip Apple is now using. NICE JOB!!!

No Dwight it wasn't as hard as a guy would think. It was my 1st time at doing a project like in-letting a uninlet stock. You can buy just about any stock Boyd's makes, in an un-inlet, un-finished stock.... cheep to. If a guy takes his time & thinks it through. Acraglas gel will be your friend to. Swiss

Swiss,
Is the Douglas barrel on your 10/22 20"? What kind of glass is on the 10/22? What about the Biathlon?

Swiss, Is the Douglas barrel on your 10/22 20"? What kind of glass is on the 10/22? What about the Biathlon? Yes the barrel is 20" XX "Air Gauged" grade, fluted smithed by a company called Tony's powderhorn I ordered the barrel from Brownells at the time. All the scopes are BSA , I have been having good luck with them. I would love to have all Leupolds but no $$$. I am thinking about looking for an used older Weaver El paso built T line to install on my 10/22 down the road. Swiss

I finally got a pic of one of my groups with my Slade Special 10/22: A 10 shot group from 33yds using Wolf MT The rifle is sporting a GM 16"SS fluted barrel, VQ hammer, adj. sear, bedded action, BSA Contender 6-24x40mm scope. The more I shoot it, the better it gets.. Martin
